1.) Ich sitz und trink Espresso in der Bar,
der Tag vergeht, die Zeit verrinnt: egal!
Ich fühl mich wie ein munt‘rer Superstar,
doch weißs, ich lebe nach normaler Wahl!
2.) Ich bin zufrieden in der Galerie,
am Markte häng ich ab und grinse gern!
Ich hab‘ beim Sitzen keinen Schmerz im Knie,
und träum von 1000 Sonnen in der Fern!
3.) Ich schaue auf die Leute im Karree,
die sitzen hinter Glas bei Außenfrost!
Sie denken an die Küste, warme See
und legen was zum Grillen auf das Rost!
4.) Ich sitz und trink Espresso in der Bar,
der Tag vergeht, die Zeit verrinnt: egal!
Ich fühl mich wie ein muntrer Superstar,
doch weiß, ich lebe nach normaler Wahl!
5.) Der Frühling ist erst ein paar Tage hier,
er kämpft und schiebt langsam die Wolken weg!
Der liebe Gott, weilt wieder länger hier,
und gibt uns Brot und manchmal Wein und Bier!
6.) Ich kaufte mir ‚ne Jacke und ein Hemd,
denn Frühling ruft nach neuer Kleidung aus!
Im Winter haben wir auch viel verpennt,
die trüben Tage waren uns ein Graus!
7.) Ich sitz und trink Espresso in der Bar,
der Tag vergeht, die Zeit verrinnt: egal
Ich fühl mich wie ein munt‘rer Superstar
doch weiß, ich lebe nach normaler Wahl!
8.) Die Freundin lad ich heut zum Essen ein,
sie lächelt und macht Witze süffisant!
Mit ihr bleibt dieser Tag nicht grau und klein,
mit ihr wird heißes Feuer angebrannt!
9.) Die Politik versinkt im Niemandsland,
die Trübsal weicht dem Mut, der Toleranz!
Versager werden bald als dies bekannt,
und Hoffnung wird Im Garten ausgepflanzt!
10.) Ich sitz und trink Espresso in der Bar,
der Tag vergeht, die Zeit verrinnt: egal

1.) I sit and drink espresso in the bar,
the day goes by, time passes: no matter!
I feel like a lively superstar,
But you know, I live by normal choice!
2.) I am happy in the gallery,
I hang out at the market and like to grin!
I don’t have any pain in my knee when I sit.
and dream of 1000 suns in the distance!
3.) I look at the people in the square,
They sit behind glass in the frost outside!
You think of the coast, warm sea
and put something on the grill to grill!
4.) I sit and drink espresso in the bar,
the day goes by, time passes: no matter!
I feel like a lively superstar,
but know that I live by normal choice!
5.) Spring has only been here for a few days,
he fights and slowly pushes the clouds away!
The good Lord, stays here longer again,
and gives us bread and sometimes wine and beer!
6.) I bought myself a jacket and a shirt,
because spring calls for new clothes!
