König der Welt, lebt nah beim Volk, will er gut sein!
König der Welt, hört ihnen zu!
König der Welt, liegts am Wohl- Stand, will er gut sein,
und er winkt dem Volk, ganz ehrlich zu!!
1.) Ich sah im Fernsehn unsern neuen König,
er ist bescheiden und erfahren auch!
Für Sachsen will er viel, für sich nur wenig,
legt keinen Wert auf Hoheit und Erlaucht!
2.) Zur Wende war er grade 14 Jahre,
euphorisch für den Osten und für Kohl!
Er stand im Licht und auch an mancher Bahre,
durch Rückschläge ward er nicht umgepolt!
König der Welt, lebt nah beim Volk, will er gut sein!
König der Welt, hört ihnen zu!
König der Welt, liegts am Wohl- Stand, will er gut sein,
und er winkt dem Volk ganz ehrlich zu!!
3.) Ein Menschenfreund, soweit es geht, geblieben,
und Anfeindungen pflastern Ehrlichkeit!
Hat in Sachsen schon Geschicht geschrieben,
und nimmt sich für sein Volk sehr oft die Zeit!
4.) Ich sah im Fernsehn unsern neuen König,
er ist bescheiden und erfahren auch!
Für Sachsen will er viel, für sich nur wenig,
legt keinen Wert auf Hoheit und Erlaucht!
König der Welt, lebt nah beim Volk, will er gut sein!
König der Welt, hört ihnen zu!
König der Welt, liegts am Wohl- Stand, will er gut sein,
und er winkt dem Volk ganz ehrlich zu!!
5.) Der König sagt was Recht ist, oft nach Stunden,
er neigt nicht gleich zum Schnellschuss oder Krieg!
Er sagt die Analysen unumwunden,
er ist in seiner Art schon sehr beliebt!
6.) Solch König ging in große Stapfen rein,
ganz einfach wars mit solch Vorbildern nicht!
Er wollte stets er selber auch noch sein,
und mit nem freien Glauben tat die Pflicht!
König der Welt, lebt nah beim Volk, will er gut sein!
König der Welt, hört ihnen zu!
König der Welt, liegts am Wohl- Stand, will er gut sein,
und er winkt dem Volk ganz ehrlich zu!!
7.) Ich sah im Fernsehn unsern neuen König,
er ist bescheiden und erfahren auch!
Für Sachsen will er viel, für sich nur wenig,

8.) Der neue König faltet Weihnachtssterne,
und redet auch zu Zweifeln die es gibt!
Er scheint sich auch mit Kritikern zu treffen,
gerade das macht ihn schon sehr beliebt!
9.) Die Weihnachtsgans holt er bei seinem Bauern,
obwohl er jung ist, pflegt er Tradition!
Ist nicht geeignet, sich schnell abzukauern,
ist tief verwurzelt, hat sich nie geschont!
König der Welt, lebt nah beim Volk, will er gut sein!
König der Welt, hört ihnen zu!
König der Welt, liegts am Wohl- Stand, will er gut sein,
und er winkt dem Volk ganz ehrlich zu!!
10.) Ich sah im Fernsehn unsern neuen König,
er ist bescheiden und erfahren auch!
Für Sachsen will er viel, für sich nur wenig,
legt keinen Wert auf Hoheit und Erlaucht!
11.) So find ich diesen König schon gelungen,
bescheiden, stark, mit seinem eignen Geist!
Vieles hat er in schwerer Zeit errungen
geht Wege überlegt und voller Fleiß

King of the world, listen to them!
King of the world, depends on prosperity, he wants to be good,
and he waves to the people, honestly!!
1.) I saw our new king on TV,
he is humble and experienced too!
He wants a lot for Saxony, but little for himself,
puts no value on majesty and augustness!
2.) At the turn of the century he was just 14 years old,
euphoric for the east and for cabbage!
He stood in the light and also at many a bier,
he was not reversed by setbacks!
King of the world, lives close to the people, he wants to be good!
King of the world, listen to them!
King of the world, depends on prosperity, he wants to be good,

3.) Remained a philanthropist as far as possible,
