1.) Money for Nothing, als böser Traum,
die Inflation ist nicht weg!
Fürs Geld gibt es nur den leeren Schaum,
wer hat das bloß ausgeheckt?
2.) Die Schmutz-Toiletten der Autobahn,
mit Zwangsgebühren bezahlt!
Für Alles gibts den Abkassierwahn,
der Mann an der Kasse, der strahlt!
3.) Beim Bäcker die Brötchen sind teuer und klein,
das Backen ward teuer wie nie!
Die Bürger: Bestandteil vom Geld-Leg-Verein!
bezahlen an der Kasse wie Vieh!
4.) Money for Nothing, als böser Traum,
die Inflation ist nicht weg!
Fürs Geld gibt es nur den leeren Schaum,
wer hat das bloß ausgeheckt?
5.) Finanzamt gibt hier die Regeln vor,
in Deutschland wird voll abgesahnt!
Die Deutschen kriegen das Eigentor,
mit Einbußen ungeahnt!
6.) Money for Nothing, die Straßen kaputt,
die Schulen fallen auch schon ein!
Die Bundesbahn liegt auch schon im Schutt,
die Service- Wüste zog ein!
7.) Money for Nothing, als böser Traum,
die Inflation ist nicht weg!

1.) Money for Nothing, as a bad dream,
Inflation has not gone away!
For money there is only empty foam,
Who came up with that?
2.) The dirt toilets on the highway,
paid with compulsory fees!
There is a cash-in madness for everything,
the man at the checkout beaming!
3.) At the bakery the rolls are expensive and small,
Baking has never been more expensive!
The citizens: part of the Geld-Leg Association!
pay like cattle at the checkout!
4.) Money for Nothing, as a bad dream,
Inflation hasn’t gone away!
For money there is only empty foam,
Who came up with that?
5.) The tax office sets the rules here,
In Germany they really get the money!
The Germans get the own goal
with losses unimagined!
6.) Money for Nothing destroys the streets,
the schools are already falling in!
The federal railway is already in ruins,
the service desert moved in!
