1.) Ich traf einen Alten am Schrottplatz heut morgen,
ich kannte ihn schon, als er 20 erst war!
Er macht sich zu Deutschland seit Jahren viel Sorgen,
und sang laut ein Lied, was bedeutungsvoll war!
2.) Das Land ist zerbrochen, die Wende vorbei!
der Käptn besoffen, das Volk einerlei!
Das Klima will retten, treibt runter den Fluss!
baut sich Nagelbetten, für Volkes Verdruss
Verfassungbeschützer, begrenzen das Volk,
der Durchlauferhitzer vernichtet das Gold!
Die Wirtschaft geschwunden, das Land schmiert grad ab!
Cannabis gefunden, kürzt Kritik am Staat!
Sag mir wo Du stehst, sag mir wo Du stehst,
Sag mir wo Du stehst und welchen weg Du gehst!
3.) Gerad kommen Wahlen, Versprechen gibts viel,
Beweisen zu müssen, kommt spät!
Die Zukunft schön malen, mit ganz edlem Ziel,
doch‘s Fahne zu hissen, vergeht!

4.) Vom Grundgesetz wird grad viel gesprochen,
doch Angriffe drauf gibts genug
Verhöhnung des Staats, kommt von hinten gekrochen,
als Beugung des Rechtes im Flug!

5.) Die Opposition gern als Schmutz hingestellt,
Regierung lobt Untertan!
Die Quittung kommt, hat der Staat mal kein Geld!
die Freiheit nach Orwell geht lahm!

6.) Die Rede sei frei, die Kunst und das Wort!
sie sei nicht zensiert und verzerrt!
Nicht Schmalspurgesetz von belehrendem Ort,
das sei nicht gelobt und geehrt!

1.) I met an old man at the junkyard this morning,
I knew him when he was only 20!
He’s been worried about Germany for years,
and sang a song loudly, which was meaningful!
2.) The country is broken, the turning point is over!
the captain drunk, the people the same!
The climate wants to save, floats down the river!
builds beds of nails for the people’s annoyance
protectors of the constitution, limit the people,
the water heater destroys the gold!
The economy has dwindled, the country is in decline!
Cannabis found, cuts criticism of the state!

3.) Elections are coming, there are a lot of promises,
Having to prove it comes late!
Painting the future beautifully, with a very noble goal,
but hoisting the flag is a thing of the past!

4.) There is a lot of talk about the Basic Law right now,
but there are enough attacks on it
Mockery of the state, comes crawling from behind,
as a bending of the law in flight!

5.) The opposition likes to be portrayed as dirt,
Government praises subject!
The receipt comes when the state has no money!
Freedom according to Orwell is paralyzed!

6.) Let speech be free, art and words!
it is not censored and distorted!
Not narrow-gauge law from an instructive place,
let that not be praised and honored!
